- Evening with an Expert: Local speakers and knowledgeable investors discuss issues of interest to the investor. [Free to Members]

- General Meeting: Every month GaREIA meets on the second Monday, starting at 4:30 pm with a free seminar for beginners on “Understanding Real Estate Investing.” At 5:40 pm the networking group, “Movers and Shakers,” meets to discuss issues with a special speaker on local affairs. The Q&A session starts at 6:15 pm and then the Marketing session is at 6:45 pm. Here is where you will learn a lot for other investors, how to present your property, what prices are out there. - GaREIA Orientation and Understanding Real Estate Investing for Beginners: Every first and third Saturday starting at 9:00 am, an orientation on the benefits and programs available through GaREIA membership. GaREIA’s seventh annual Southeastern Convention & Trade Show combined two dozen local and national experts speaking on various aspects of real estate investing with even more companies and organizations exhibiting the latest products and services for the real estate investor. The convention was held from Friday, September 14, to Sunday, September 17, 2006, with two all-day pre-convention seminars on Thursday, September 13, at the Atlanta Marriott Century Center, 2000 Century Blvd., Atlanta, located at I-85 and Clairmont Road, north of downtown Atlanta.

The Georgia Real Estate Investors Association, Inc., created the subsidiary GaREIA Institute of Education. This part of GaREIA creates and enhances our traditional education by being innovative with more curriculum-based models of education.
As we continue to offer an education variety for all levels of investor, the Institute will work for the beginner from the ground up in the Basic Curriculum to completion of the new REI Apprenticeship Program.
The GaREIA Institute is the first of its kind being done by a real estate investing group, with innovative concepts and ideas for classroom studies. The beginning investor learns from experts and knowledgeable investors the correct way to invest, highlighting the ethical and legal standards required.
