GaREIA
Subgroups are a benefit for Regular members. Business Associate
members must also have a Regular membership in order to participate
in subgroups. Subgroups provide networking and educational opportunities
for GaREIA members.
Many of the
Special Interest Subgroups are "walk-in" subgroups
and do not require the member to submit an application. Walk-in
Subgroups meet at the GaREIA Office located at 3920 N. Peachtree
Road.
Subgroups not specified as "walk-in" require an application.
Applications may be obtained at the Subgroup Table at the
Monthly General Meeting or at New Member orientation. These
procedures are fully defined in a separate document titled
Process
for Getting into Subgroups
Geographic
Subgroups
meet in the area of the member's residence. This is convenient
for the members so they will not have far to travel. Members
may join only one Geographical Subgroup. Meeting locations
for these subgroups may rotate between members' homes.
Special
Interest Subgroups
relate to specific topics or types of real estate investing.
Members may join as many as they have time for. Some Special
Interest Subgroups require that the member submit an application.
Others are "Walk In" subgroups which do not require
an application or advance notice to attend.
To
learn more about Subgroups go to Subgroup
Guidelines. Begin by attending the New Member Orientation
held on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month at the GaREIA
Office. Attend 3 Walk-In Subgroups and submit a completed
application for the subgroups you are interested in.
We
are looking forward to seeing you in the next orientation
and Subgroup meetings!
